Then it was time for the incredible Valentina, and Oh. My. GOD!!! She did things with a hula hoop the likes of which I've never seen! Acrobatic skill and dexterity combined with beauty, grace, and joy, it was intoxicating! We were even given the gift of a second performance by the stunning Ms. Valentina! She was like a shimmering emerald in a deep green evening gown, and she put on a performance the likes of which I have never seen! I can barely find the words to describe the hypnotic and thrilling feats she performed with not one, not two, not three, but FOUR iridescent hula hoops! She managed to remove her clothing with perfect grace, all the while mesmerizing us with her hooping expertise! She is more than a living work of art, she is a force of nature! I felt so lucky to be right up front to witness all this glory up close and personal! So amazing!

Thank you for putting on such an amazing, sold out show last night! All of the performers gave me a new definition of what is possible in the arena of dance, movement, and expression. I was frequently at a loss for words. Can't wait for the next show!

3 years ago when I met you, my jaw hit the floor and I didn't think it was possible for you to get any better. Now I know that you have super powers. You will never stop getting better and I will never stop being impressed. I am so inspired by your drive and determination and when I think about it, I don't think you have ever said "I can't" to me. The extra effort that you made to get on that yacht weeks before the show and make your hoops work...there are no words. For a charity show, no less. I love you! I just wanted to say that my mermaid hoop did arrive and I absolutely LOVE it! The taping style is beautiful and perfectly done. The size of the unit itself is a little on the intermediate level side for me but it works great nonetheless. I've been practicing hooping everyday since I've gotten it for about and hour and a half; I can't wait to get better to be able to use it while hoop dancing skillfully. Lastly I do want to say thank you for honoring my request for a non-collapsible hoop and doing it so quickly. I'll definitely be buying my next hoop from you.

Just wanted to say that words can't even express how amazing this past week and few months has been for me! I was really in a sad place in my life before I joined your troupe, and this past week has truly shown me how big of a turn around it has become :) I love being part of something I can be proud of and share with others. Hey Valentina! Thanks so much for doing [the gig]! It was exactly the artistic and exciting ingredient that our party needed. Our 15 visiting guests from Denmark were blown away and said they'd never seen anything so cool at a party before! All the guests thought it was impressive, and one woman called it "a mesmerizing display of female beauty, grace, and strength!" Anders Dale is now a lifetime fan of Unity! I'm totally convinced that your magic is what made him cover the drinks all night! You very well might be getting emailed to do more private parties.

Something you said in the prep circle really stuck. The thing about being confident through dance and showing others they should be confident and comfortable in their own skin. I've had really bad anxiety my whole life which has affected my self expression and I'm really breaking down those barriers at this point and slowly blossoming into the person I want to be. You are one of the people who helps me do that. I love, look up and am so inspired by you Valentina! Strong and determined, I see and respect your drive and professionalism not only as your own performer but in what your trying to do with the Hoop Unit.

I had a very pleasant and surprising hoop experience last night that you are somewhat responsible for. I went to Spin last night for the X Sanguine party, where I ended up spinning for a while. My new LED hoop was part of the outfit. Kind of a mix btw Tron and Captain America with my doubled up LED hoop as my shield hanging on my back. What was funny though, were my leather pants. I haven't worn them in a while. They were always tight on me. In fact, I had to move the button a bit to cheat on my waste line. I was really curious to see how they would fit. Well, for the first time, I actually needed a belt to keep them up. Why? It's the hooping. I've lost 15+ lbs over the last couple of months. I thought from other non physical reasons. However, none of it is coming back. Besides being a total blast, hooping has really kept me in shape.
