When Valentina picked up a hoop it was love at first spin! Feeling very much like an extension of her previous belly dance training, hooping was both natural and excitingly challenging. Within a year of hooping, Valentina had landed herself on national television, started teaching hoop dance and selling her own handmade hoops.

Almost five years later, Valentina is a respected member of the hooping community and known for her niche ability to fuse hooping with belly dance and burlesque. She has been invited to teach and perform at worldwide prestigious hooping and dance events such as Hoop Camp, Hoop Convergence, Spin Summit, BellyFusions Festival in Paris, Fire Drums, Cairo Caravan, Raqs LA, The Big Time Out in Cumberland B.C., and Bedouin Bazaar. Traveling to these events has given Valentina the opportunity to not only spread her knowledge, but also soak it up from some of the most amazing hula hoop artists around the world. She is always training, practicing, learning and expanding her hoop technique.
